Ok, so Dad Bloggers have not exactly caught on like Mom bloggers (by the way, don’t say “Mommy Blogger” unless you want to incur the wrath of millions of social-media-savvy moms who have Twitter accounts and know how to use them), but there are a few out there worth mentioning.
I like frugaldad.com because the author shares personal experience about how he worked at a call center for credit card companies and learned firsthand how the enemy of prosperity and financial peace of mind is debt. His time as a call center rep inspired him to launch frugaldad.com to help others keep out of debt.
He shares coupons and deals, and he also offers scholarships to deserving students to help them have a worry-free college learning experience and avoid student loan debt.
I couldn’t find out much about the author “Jason” on his site, Facebook or Twitter, but he has been quoted and featured on national media such as Kiplinger and BusinessWeek umpteen times, so he’s obviously respected as an authority on debt matters.
As someone who lives debt-free, I can appreciate his philosophy and hope others follow suit.
